Royal Tyrrell Museum of Paleontology The Royal Tyrrell Museum is in the heart of the Alberta's badlands, 6 km (4 mi) northwest of Drumheller, Alberta, in Midland Provincial Park. Karen created a series of murals and other illustrations for the Tyrrell, including creatures from Alberta's Cretaceous and the weird animals from the Burgess Shale.
