Did you know?

Karen typically receives a wide range of reference materials from her clients when working on a mural, and the Indiana State Museum provided invaluable assistance in the creation of this image. Karen recounts how they went above and beyond the call of duty:

"To make sure I had a good sense of this location, which is still preserved in northern Indiana, the museum sent a crew out on site with a video camera. They brought along a life-size cutout of a peccary, which was bright blue, to give me a sense of scale. Unfortunately for their film crew, it had just snowed and was brutally cold. But I do have a marvelous video of the frosty film crew tromping through the snow with their blue cardboard peccary. Some day I need to do a mural of that!
