Description: |
|
Glossopteris, named after the Greek glossa for its tongue-shaped leaves, is an important plant in the study of paleobiology and paleobotany. Glossopterids developed during the Permian and were widespread in the Permian and Triassic, but became extinct by the end of the Triassic.
