Did you know? |
|
Up to 3 meters in size, Coelophysis was a slender carnivore of the Late Triassic Period. Coelophysis had a long neck, long tail and relatively long forelimbs, plus a mouth full of formidable teeth. Karen's Coelophysis detail is part of her larger Triassic mural for The Sam Noble Oklahoma Museum of Natural History.
In addition to valuable assistance from the museum staff while working on her Triassic mural, Karen was able to view a stunning fossil reconstruction of Coelophysis that is now part of the Sam Noble display. |
