Karen's book illustration
Lone Star Dinosaurs, the award-winning book by Dr. Louis Jacobs, was one of Karen's first major illustration projects, and books remain one of Karen's favorite types of work. She has a number of titles appearing under the imprint of the Smithsonian Institution, HarperCollins Publishers and others.
